Destabilizing

When the president says Iran is the most destabilizing influence in the Middle East, whom do you suppose the people of Iraq consider to be the most destabilizing influence in their lives right now? And while we're on the subject, what fossil fuels this destabilization? For starters, it certainly wasn't Al Qaeda or the 9/11 terrorists or even weapons of mass destruction, as first declared -- at least not until we actually invaded Iraq and let them all in there. And now, the Pennsylvania Avenue oiligarchy continues to flush our own domestic resources through various mercenary contractors into a blatantly covert campaign to plunder the domestic resources of the Middle East, apparently for their own fun and profit. And all this seems to be in some sort of unseemly collaboration with Saudi Arabia, Osama's homeland and the original breeding ground for Al Qaeda. The world seems to work in mysterious ways, doesn't it? Or does it?

The bottom line for this country, though, is that we no longer seem to have one -- a bottom line, that is. By the time this president stumbles out of office, along with his ventriloquist down the hall, after having failed at every turn in every way, we'll be broke -- politically, diplomatically, fiscally, and functionally destabilized.
