Resurrection Day. Easter dinners. Chocolate bunnies. And in the news today, Slate talks about our new war on fat, also known and visually recognized as obesity. Did this crisis begin back in the fifties, right around the time McDonald's first opened? And to take a little leap here, since then how many other wars has the United States waged?
